We four couples have traveled together all over the US for a number of years, and we have many great memories from these trips. However, this trip will, because of the terrible attack on our country 9/11/2001, be a bitter sweet memory. We had purchased our tickets in early September and decided, as our President had repeatedly urged, to "get back to flying." The bombing of Afghanistan began while the Thompsons and the Heseltons were at the DFW Airport. While we were enjoying our vacation, the first Anthrax scare was in the news, creating a bio hazard in the nearby city of Boca Raton. We rented a 15-passenger van and drove around southern Florida for a week, but watching CNN by the hour when we returned to our condo. We had a GREAT vacation--THANK YOU LORD! And, we are still...
